What is our School About? (The Vision)

The Ewanrigg Junior School vision is to help our children develop to “Be All You Can Be” by providing broad and balanced learning programmes, which suit the individual needs of every individual child in our care. In addition we try to ensure that the children are educated in a happy, healthy, safe, positive and pleasant atmosphere where they can enjoy their learning.

How do we achieve this? (The Mission)

The Ewanrigg Junior School Mission is to provide our children with five opportunities every day at school. We provide opportunities for the children to LOOK at and after the world around them; to LISTEN to the adults and each other; to LEARN through a broad and balanced curriculum; to LOVE and care for themselves, each other, the environment and the community in which they live and to LAUGH, enjoying what should be “the best years of their lives.”
